I read an article that 83.7% of entrants got eliminated after the first game of the tourney.
 
11.1 million entrants and only 2,185 left. :lol
 
I'm so old I remember reading about Calvin Hill's son committing to Duke.

Now, he's a broken down old analyst

You don't see elite physical talents (collegiately speaking) like Deng, Boozer, Maggette, Jay Williams, etc. that they had back in the 90's/very early 00's. That's also a product of Duke getting who they wanted, when they wanted back then. Now kids don't flock in droves to them. He still gets one or two of the premeire talent but you can't collect them and create a great team anymore.

I heard the NBA wants to add another year onto the age limit. Will be interesting to see college basketball get back to it's former greatness without the one and done's. Will probably kill the small schools though.
 
I'll say this, though.... hopefully the next time we see Rodney Hood on a basketball floor, it's at the United Center wearing white.

Unless that Sacramento is top 5 protected forever, id never deal it to move up for a borderline lottery player.
