I think Travis is largely a moron, but he's kind of right here about the fighting, not in all sports but in baseball. Used to be that if you did this, you ate one next at-bat, but now the pitcher would get tossed so that doesn't happen much anymore.
And more than that, I read a Rangers board a lot in the late aughts to early teens when they were getting good, and I remember all the kids on there -- who I know now were wokesters before that was even a term -- talking about how not approving of these huge celebrations was racist because that's how the Latin American players were, and what right did we white Americans have to tell them they can't act like that after a home run. That was 15 or so years ago now so no wonder that sentiment has only become more ingrained since then.

Tech went in to the semi-finals having to beat the #1 team twice to make it to the softball world series championship. They won the first one on a walkoff HR in extras. They turned around 30 mins later and beat Bama 2-0 in the second. They now play the Longhorns for the crown on Wednesday. We have got to win. My brother deserves it. We're coming for you, teasips.
