I had a 72 Nova in high school. Since I have only had the pleasure of a couple of time spending fixer-uppers.

Whoa. Maybe we're redneck kin.

I had a 71 Nova 350 big block with a 4 bolt main. I sold it after F'n up the transmission one night in a drunken stupor raising hell.

One of the stupidest things I've ever done. Selling the car, I mean. Not tearing it up raising hell while drunk. That was fun. :unsure

Mine had a pussy 260 inline 6, but I loved that car. I had glasspipes on that bitch and it sounded damn good.

Well, things could be worse. We could be the Falcons now four full games behind the Saints.

1-4...everyone was calling for Wade's head on a platter at that point

Eli's fall from grace has nothing to do with being "forced to carry the team". He's going full idiot and making bad decisions because he feels had has to. Big difference.

Romo has had that feeling of anxiety since day one. And even does it at times when he doesn't have to feel that way.
Eli's won big games with good teams, and as far as I know was considered better than Romo by most.

Romo's been the sole foundation of offensive production since 09 at least.

Clearly the onus has been on Tony even longer. His first season as starter ended with him in a shootout every week trying to keep us in the game.

Frankly I think this season, and other previous seasons, have proven that if Eli is consistently put in those same positions, he falters worse than Romo. (Hence the 10 INT disparity between these two good QBs on bad teams)

There may be some nuance here that I'm too obtuse to understand but if.
A) Only good (clutch) QBs can win SBs
B) Romo plays much better than a clutch QB who is placed in nearly identical circumstances.
Then:
C) Romo's potential as a starter has not yet been realized until he's put in similar circumstances to Manning when he was a SB winning QB.

That was a quick motor, tho. Nothing to sneeze at.

My dad just bought an AWESOME car. A 64' Chevy Impala 409 SS. A survivor car. Never been restored. Everything is original except the tires, battery, and windshield wipers. And it's in nearly flawless condition. Bought it from the original owner out of Oregon. Still has the original papers in the glovebox.

Looks just like this one, except it's pearl blue. Not quite as dark. Black interior.

Have you seen this before? To reduce brain damage...called "Guardian Caps"

Romo has never been given a good head coach.

That said, I'm can't believe you are right. Maybe it comes down to what you think about certain
QBs, but off the top of my head: what about Steve bartkowski, Bert jones, Brian sipe, joe ferguson, Archie manning, pat Hayden, Richard Todd, Steve Grogan, Neil lomax, and I'd guess there's more. I could be wrong but I don't remember any of those guys in a conference championship.

I always thought Neil Lomax was a very good QB.

That is one sweet car. I always liked the Impalas. Especially the early to mid 60s variety.

So...Dallas could have had Geno Smith instead of a Retarded TE.....and NoDak has a pimped out Impala in the family.

My first car was a 64 Impala, but I got it for 2 grand and it was NOT in good condition. The engine was a 350 from a truck that had been swapped in, half the chrome trim was missing or messed up and the driver-side fender had been smashed and just hammered back into kind of shape.

I wish I had had the money to fix it up, but I sold it for the 2k I paid for it a few years later.

CSB.
