I guess I thought that was Ferrigamo. Anyway, not much point if you ask me but Phil seems to think that Romo has had less post season success than almost every decent or better QB in history save a couple. I just can't believe that's true based on my own admittedly faulty memory.
Romo's career isn't even over yet so all of this is pretty much moot at the moment anyway.
THat announcer with his "It's 3rd down" is annoying
Haden actually lost two NFC Championships. All in all most of the QBs you brought up haven't had anything close to the abilities Romo, nor were they surrounded by the talent Romo has had at times during his tenure. Guys like Ferguson, Lomax, Archie Manning, Todd, Barkowski etc...played on some butt-bad teams overall.
I don't have the knowledge of the 1970s QBs that Ghengis Khan has...but, yeah, I'm going way down the list of QB quality to find other QBs that haven't gone deep into the playoffs.
Really, only Warren Moon compares.
Bosher just horsecollared a guy, then shove a Jet assistant down on the ground. All from a punter, too funny.
Romo has never been given a good head coach.
That said, I'm can't believe you are right. Maybe it comes down to what you think about certain
QBs, but off the top of my head: what about Steve bartkowski, Bert jones, Brian sipe, joe ferguson, Archie manning, pat Hayden, Richard Todd, Steve Grogan, Neil lomax, and I'd guess there's more. I could be wrong but I don't remember any of those guys in a conference championship.
Out of the QBs you listed, Bartkowski and Bert Jones also had similar misfortune in the playoffs.
Bartkowski - 2 time Pro Bowler - 1-3 playoff record and lost in Divisional Playoffs.
Bert Jones - 1 time Pro Bowler - 0-3 playoff record in three straight Divisional Playoffs. Brutal.
Sipe - 1 time Pro Bowler - 0 playoff wins
Archie Manning - 2 time Pro Bowler - never made playoffs
Neil Lomax - 2 time Pro Bowler - 0-1 playoff record
Richard Todd, Joe Ferguson, Steve Grogan never made the Pro Bowl
The research you put into that post makes you a dork regardless of the argument.

It's not a criticism of Romo - really I'm just exasperated and you'd think that, one of these years, it will finally be our year where it comes together. Don't tell me we had a Romo and the best success we'll ever see is the Divisional Playoffs.
It's f'n sad that we sit at 2-3. The NFC is ripe for the taking.
