This is how I always cook my chickens. Spread that bitch out and enjoy the moist bird.
Sorry comrade, the yanks are talking about the American bird right now.

Which sucks. Chicken is where it's at. And, did you just call yourself a yank?
It's a term of in deer meat.
While I acknowledge this as a well-crafted pun, I do not acknowledge turkey as comparable to chicken.
I've read that it's safe to take the breast at 150 and let the legs/thighs hit 165 if you plan on letting it sit for a bit.
I plan on trying that next time as well.
Hopefully we don't get the Sal Manillers.

I almost always go 160 for the breast, wrap in foil and towels and put it in the cooler while I prep other stuff. I think 164 is recommended but I'm risky so I do it 160
I'm going crazy next time and taking it at 150 in the breast.
If I die, I would not recommend trying it.

I know you all were waiting on the edge of your seats in anticipation of this news.
Send me some or GTFO.
I'll send you a pack.
Right after I stick them up my dog's butt for some extra flavoring.

I'll take chicken over turkey 364 days a year, but Thanksgivings are for turkey whether you like it or not.

One will have a long wait for a Turkey to be served at our household. I will go with the other white meat.
