Guy must be a real fucktard if we aren't worried about getting him back with our issues at LB.

Was that ever in question?

On top of being a "fucktard", the guy's passion for the game is questionable, he's obviously taken some banned substance recently, hence the 4 game fine.

He battled injuries all season long and his impact lessened as the season went on.

All of those issues cannot be ignored and it is why I wouldn't worry about losing him. I'd prefer that he come back, but it has to do more with filling a hole than believing we're getting this big time playmaker who is about to revive his career.

If he goes to the Pats then so be it.

I imagine McClain must feel a slight obligation to Jerry for giving him yet another opportunity. How that translates to a re-signing I don't know.

I just don't get the feeling that McClain operates that way.

I doubt he sits around thinking about how grateful he is to the Cowboys for giving him a chance to do what he loves again when no one else cared. I would imagine he doesn't give a shit and is just looking for a check from whomever is willing to give it to him at this point.

I think the only real advantage you have is that Dallas was kind of the first place that has seemed like home for McClain. I do think that being comfortable in a place gives you an advantage with a player, especially a guy like him. I don't think he wants to leave the teammates that he bonded with and I don't think he wants to move again. So obviously I think it gives us a slight advantage. Of course if you aren't close in money none of that will matter.

And no one, Pats included, is gonna throw loads of money at him. That helps our case I think.

I think he's overestimating what kind of year he had. Yeah, he played all right, but he was never healthy and he still has a lot to prove.

Who?

Is he worth a shit? Or is he the same as our last Aggies QB fail?

He's not worth a shit or he's not like our last Aggies fail?

jsmith6919 can speak better to it but I don't remember him even being anything special in college.

He wasn't. He's weak-armed, has a slow weird release and has no pocket presence at all.
