The fact this asshole knows enough about the situation to deny there was a hard curfew tells me all I need to know.

Garrett could want to go all apeshit with fines, but he would not have the ability to do it. The players would just go whine to Daddy about it.

I have no doubt that's true, just more proof of how dysfunctional an organization this is.

It's true, it was on all the pregame shows.

Probably the worst thing that could happen was for this to happen two days before playing a wretched Jacksonville team that a collection of DCCers could beat. Now the players can all say, see, it doesn't matter that we ignored the coach.... We can do what we want and still win.

Which is pretty much what a few of them reportedly said after the game.

That Garrett is now saying there wasn't a curfew since Jerry did doesn't help at all either, gotta think it's pretty hard for players to take any coach seriously who let's their owner do this to them
 
Other than a rumor is there any evidence or truth the team members actually missed a curfew? I have not heard or seen anything other than the posts on this site.

Saw a tweet last night that Dez said he was one of them.
Also noone has been denying that team members were out after 12, they are taking the position that there was no curfew even though Garrett gave a direct quote that there was

Ok, so earlier in the week Garrett had mentioned that the Cowboys have a curfew every day.

If guys did miss curfew I have no problem with Garrett trying to keep it out of the media. It's something that you expect to be taken care of internally.

Something important to note is the reason they missed curfew Friday night was because Jerry had them out at a party that he had planned. So, that's a lot of why Jerry is saying there was no curfew even after Garrett had said that there would be.

I never did see the full Jerry quote on this, did he say he had all of the guys that missed curfew out with him? If so wonder why some of the players were saying they did it out of spite because cba doesn't allow for curfew.

I haven't seen the quote, just what Hill tweeted above.
 
I think the technicality is that a curfew isn't really enforceable via fines etc. per the CBA, so now they can deny that there was ever a real curfew. But the head coach can still ask his players to be back by a certain time, which Garrett did. The players ignored it.

Either that or the real Coach, Coach Jones, did an override on the supposed coach's curfew.

If they played that Jags team every week, the players could do hookers and blow til 6:00 am every Saturday. But unfortunately, they don't.
 
I don't see it as a big deal. It was on a Friday night and they were at a team sponsored function. The only potential point of contention is whether Jones and Garrett were communicating. I can't help but wonder if Garrett was there himself.
