I like Dez a lot, but we've put up with a lot of his crap to get to this point. I'm a lot less interested in negotiating with a guy who wants to be represented by a non-football entity. Makes me think he's not as interested in football as I hoped.

Well, it is not like Jay Z will be the agent. It will likely be a CAA guy like Sexton doing the real work.

All in all, yes, Jones has done him a ton of favors and put up with basically having to babysit him. He needs to come off with a contract extension with that in mind.

It is obvious that Bryant's #1 priority is to be paid like the best WRs in the game. Doesn't deserve to be IMO.

I know very little about JayZ's company. What does he do? Contract out with real agents?

Good call, boozeman.

Have we heard anything about Rolando McClain, Tyrone Crawford?

I heard Free and Leary were both good to go.

Crawford most likely won't be playing, and now it's looking like McClain might not be.

If true, kind of flies in the face of the idea that Garrett had this team's shit together earlier this year.

Jerry Jones says no curfew violations for Cowboys

Posted by Josh Alper on November 9, 2014, 11:36 AM EST

On Sunday, a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Media had Cowboys coaches and some players upset about 20 members of the team missing Friday night curfew in London.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has responded to the report. Jones told Ian Fitzsimmons of ESPN Radio that there were no curfew violations on Friday night because the team didn’t have a curfew.

That’s different from what Rapoport reported, obviously, and it is also different from what Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said this week while discussing how his players would fill their time when the team wasn’t practicing.

“We get done with our work at 5:15 p.m. every day and then curfew is at midnight, so the guys have some time on their own,” Garrett said, via Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan.

It’s not the first time that Jones and Garrett have sent disparate messages about what’s going on with the team and the curfew issue will blow up into something bigger if the Cowboys don’t take care of business against Jacksonville. The mixed signals won’t be a great look even if that doesn’t happen, but it will be easier for the Cowboys to move onto other things in the immediate aftermath of the game.

Of course.

Good lord. Garrett says there's a curfew and Jones says there wasn't. I mean, can't be hard on the players otherwise how can they possibly love him?
