And that’s with two wrs making 8 digits per and another Wr making 7
Don't worry, boys....as he said for the umpteenth time, he's really pissed off.
I'm sure that's going to lead to him turning into Kyle Shanahan or Andy Reid between now and Monday night.
And to think I was worried about this game!
I guess they see it, too.

He must be happy playing on the tag, because no one who desires a long-term contract would act like him.I think there is no chance he gets extended now. He is a zero at everything but catching the ball when he's in the mood.
He's just a weird dude. I don't think much of what he does is very logical. He must be happy playing on the tag, because no one who desires a long-term contract would act like him.

....
This is a 25 year old man who’s been playing this game most of his life. I feel like we shouldn’t need to be coaching him to block on running plays. The fact he’s doing it on the franchise tag, with a 9 figure contract hanging in the balance doesn’t fill me with a lot of confidence he could live up to that kind of deal. This is one of those times where trading the player is the right move, imo.
I agree.A microcosm of what’s wrong with that generation in general
If you've listened to all of his press conferences since the Tampa game, (I have, I'm a masochist) he's also very passively and subtley throwing the defense under the bus on occasion including coaches. Usually tangentially related to different problems with his offensive philosophy because of score.
He comes off as a bit of a weasel.
Kinda hard to get rushing yards when you call 26 dink and dunk passes in a row.
What do you mean? He always blames himself, to me almost to a fault. Sometimes the players or even coaches need to be called out.One of the things I most hated about Garrett was his total lack of accountability.
Schotty always gave the impression that he would at least bring that much to the table but not only is he not accountable, he deflects and manages to blame everyone but himself.
