2026 Random Cowboys Stuff Thread...

Don't worry, boys....as he said for the umpteenth time, he's really pissed off.

I'm sure that's going to lead to him turning into Kyle Shanahan or Andy Reid between now and Monday night.

And to think I was worried about this game!

Right now I can see him rolling up his sleeves and goin to work …

Joey Porter is worth the investment. You can tell that guy loves ball. AND he wants the challenge of covering the best WR on the field.

I think there is no chance he gets extended now. He is a zero at everything but catching the ball when he's in the mood.
He must be happy playing on the tag, because no one who desires a long-term contract would act like him.

He's just a weird dude. I don't think much of what he does is very logical.

....

I guess they see it, too.

This is a 25 year old man who’s been playing this game most of his life. I feel like we shouldn’t need to be coaching him to block on running plays. The fact he’s doing it on the franchise tag, with a 9 figure contract hanging in the balance doesn’t fill me with a lot of confidence he could live up to that kind of deal. This is one of those times where trading the player is the right move, imo.

He spent much of that time getting sucked off because of his insane talent and production as a WR. The other parts of the game, the details, he prolly never felt he had to do all that.

A microcosm of what’s wrong with The Cowboys in general
