2026 Random Cowboys Stuff Thread...

Our ST's were shit last year and it hurt us in a few games, especially Detroit. Bell is also passable if need be playing a few snaps on defense, he's gotten reps with the first team throughout camp.

Bell was here last year. They were shit last year. Aren't you kind of proving my point that one guy doesn't really have much impact?

Plus I thought Locke was also supposed to be some sort of special teams beast.

Sure one guy doesn't but if he's one of our best ST guys he should be on the roster, I don't know if he is because I'm not watching special teams all-22, but in theory it makes sense.

I have no idea about Locke on ST's, although he has plenty of experience there over the years.

I just hope we don't cut some promising young scrimmage players because we need to keep special teams vets to cover for Wino ST's incompetence.

Anyway, I listened to the PC and I'll give credit to BS, he's less goofy and chummy with the media this year. Seems like he's improved his sophomore year like some of the players.

Parsons definitely did the organization a favor by not taking the 40/year offer.

Maybe they would've aggressively looked to upgrade at DT either way, but something tells me they wouldn't have been as successful as they have been.
or they could have signed him earlier to a much cheaper deal and tried to build a defense around him.

I'm glad it's worked out well for the team, but he was very open early on to signing a new deal while they stood around jerking each other off.
