The Cowboys offense was 5th in yards in 2023, 10th in 2022, and 1st in 2021.
That's not just they were put in good position from turnovers generated by the defense.
Those offenses moved the ball A LOT and were legitimately good.
Keep Javontae and draft Nic Singleton and our backfield will become a real strength.
I would not take a back that high, but I recognize the need. I personally would be very very skeptical about big money for Williams.
He is probably the 3rd or 4th off the board. That could infringe in that area. I would much rather find a scatback or bowling ball in the later rounds. But we do need depth for certain. What round would that be? Honestly haven't looked at where RBs are projected. Earliest I'd consider RB would be fourth. But the fourth tends to produce a decent amount of NFL RBs.

So you don't think Dak folding in pretty much all of those games had anything to do with that?
If Dak doesn't shit the bed in San Francisco in 2023, we beat them by 2 scores and get to our first NFC in ages.
Yea we had a lot of talent, I don't think his scheme is terrible to where it makes talent worse than it is (like Eberflus last year), but I don't think his scheme elevates talent beyond it's baseline level like what you see with SF, the Rams, etc.
Pittsburgh has very average talent so I expect very average results, wake me up if they're a top 5-7ish offense without significant upgrades.

So if he succeeds with talent, it was the talent and not him, but if he fails without talent then he's the problem and not the talent.
Got it.
The Cowboys have to be the only team in professional sports where the worst thing that could happen to them was to win a championship.
Shouldn't they hand over cap-boy duties to the Asian?
Maybe John Park is finally wielding the power of analytics.Shouldn't they hand over cap-boy duties to the Asian?
