2026 NFL Draft Chatter

A shot where?

He'll definitely be there at 12 and almost certainly at 20 as well.

There are just so many guys I like in the 25-50 range but none who feel like slam dunks at 20.
There is only one slam dunk at 20, and I think you know who that is.

If we are able to trade down a bit, I guess we do. I just don't have a lot of faith in us being able to pull that off.

I mean there was maybe a time I thought he could go in the third. That time has now passed.

I think he goes late one to somewhere in the second round. But 20 is too rich for my blood for a guy his size. Love the player though. And the size doesn't really bother me. But I can't totally over look the fact he is 5'9" with short arms. If he was 6 foot we may be talking about him in the top 10.

If we even spend one second considering Ponds at 20, then our brain trust is absolutely as retarded as fans claim they are.

I don't think we will.

I could see a team picking in the 29-32 range considering him. But that's because that area of the draft gets unpredictable to me. If I had to guess this cements him in the second round though. Honestly that's stupid fast but I never even cared about his forty. He played fast as hell. He plays physical. He is just small.

Drew Allar. Funny QB to me. I see the talent to be a high first round pick. Injury and the mess at Penn State this year tanked his stock. But I wonder where he will go. He is sort of physically exactly what you want in a QB. Mobile, great arm, great size. Sometimes I even forget he is in this draft. But he also looked like he needed another year of improvement after his junior year. I honestly wonder where he will go in the draft.

Feels like a number of QBs in this draft were supposed to be first round QBs and just totally fell off.

Funny thing is that with the new transfer shit has made Parcells’ rules for the QB moot.

Pretty impressive, if we moved down to the 30-40 range I'd consider him there.

Yeah I mean if we want a bigger less explosive guy he is a good and physical player. Jacas, Parker, Zion Young and Dani Dennis-Sutton are sort of your 4-3 End types that maybe our staff wants at OLBer. I'm really not sure. I think the Eagles sort of had one of each at OLBer. Dennis-Sutton might be my favorite of those types. Just because his testing numbers scream great athlete but he plays more of a physical game. Plus at 6'6" he has all the length in the world.

Man I just love Bain. I hope like hell he falls to us but I seriously doubt it. He might be the best player in the draft.

I'm starting to think that of the top 6 defensive players he may be the most likely to fall to us. I really love the player as well. He is a certified badass too. Like when I say tone setter, I'm talking about a guy who plays at such a high level of effort and aggression that he raises the level of play of guys around him. I honestly don't care where you use him either. You just put him in the front 7 and you will be better. Play him at DE in nickel, play him at OLBer, hell play him at 3 tech, this dude is going to fight his ass off and make plays.

Exactly. And that sort of high effort and aggression is really underrated on defense. It goes a long way when you have traits like he does.

He is one of my personal favorites that I try not to talk about because he will be running through people’s faces for some lucky team and it ain’t us.
