2026 Draft Week Chatter Thread...

If Klayton Adams is on board, I'm fine with it. Not so sure about the OL coach or what difference his recruiting the player would make, but if Adams strongly approved also, I feel okay about it.

Yeah someone was saying that Riley recruited him at Kansas State so there was definitely some love for him in the building.

I am leery of it, but it appears he was endorsed by figures of respect.

It is always…the phone.

I don't think it was a ridiculous reach, I just would've went elsewhere if it was me.

I wanted a developmental OT though and if that's who they like, so be it.

Yeah I don't think its a reach, at worst he was a fourth/fifth round prospect but most had him as a third/fourth round type. I just am not a big fan of the player. Meaning I wouldn't have had him as a fourth round guy I wanted. I wouldn't have wanted Bell in the third either for example. Even though he went in the third to the Eagles.

I really really don't like Bell. I would much rather have done it the way we did than what they did.

I wouldn't have wanted Bell with our fourth round pick and the Eagles took him with a top of the third pick. Fun fact ESPN had Shelton ranked substantially higher than Bell. Me I hated both.

There were a lot of OT picks in this draft I would not have done. I feel like teams throw picks in the trash because they feel compelled to take an OT. I think it was a badly over drafted OT class.

Will he be as good as Chuma?

Impossible.

Failed pick.
