We have so much $$$$ tied up in DT's. We usually don't have any good DT's. Now we have 3. I'm just not sure Osa fits into what CP wants to do. Maybe he does.
It's really D-lineman though. You're talking about 3 Dlineman in a 3-4 and those are your 3 Dlineman. You take Osa out (Who I actually think is a good fit at DE in a 3-4) and now who is starting at DE? Keldric MFing Faulk? Payton Turner? Because you don't have another guy.
I won't deny we may have signed the Chargers guy to play NT with Williams and Clark as your DEs. I just don't think trading away Osa for dirt is good business at all.
He is being paid a lot of money, Mortimer.I won't deny we may have signed the Chargers guy to play NT with Williams and Clark as your DEs. I just don't think trading away Osa for dirt is good business at all.
If they trade him for a low return they're doing it for salary reasons and I'm really really against that.
If they got a good return I get it.
This is why it bugs me. We have enough holes to fill without voluntarily creating another one.And it feels like you're opening a new hole on the Dline where you need a starter.
They signed him to be an interior standard 3-T disruptor in Eberflus’ scheme. I dunno how he fits the “multiple” things.I just have no faith they get a good return I guess. And it feels like you're opening a new hole on the Dline where you need a starter.

"We lacked him in the draft!!!" That's just fucking lazy.
Exactly. We have 11 JAG backups. We have 2 JAG startersDepth pieces. You want the same depth guys from last year? I don't.
Maybe we should just go down the franchise tag list and pick off who we want, eh Marcus?
