What is the point of bringing in a bunch of pointless schlubs like Morris Claiborne?

So he can regale the guys with stories of the magical 2013 season?

I get bringing back top guys even from teams who weren't amazing, but why even bother with schlubs who most of these guys barely even recognize?

According to the internet, Mike Green has been amazing in training camp. I'll be watching closely. I feel Green was the better player.

He was, and he's shown me more in the limited preseason snaps, but Ezeiruaku wasn't far behind in my opinion and who knows what the off field stuff was. It's hard for me to get too upset about passing up on a guy who I had maybe 5-7 spots higher with a completely unknown off field situation.

I know it's been mentioned that Eber is doing some stuff in the preseason games that may be part of the reason for it. Ultimately I think the Cowboys coaches are being way too cute about these preseason games. But I also don't think you can read a lot into what you're seeing either.

He may be similar to Bo Nix athletically with a stronger arm. But Nix had so many reps in college.
