Obviously I'd like a much better RB situation but one of our best teams of the last 20ish years was the 2023 team with a very so-so Tony Pollard coming off an injury and barely anything else.

Its all about the Oline this year. And considering the massive amount of resources we have put into the Oline it makes sense. We aren't going to run the ball well because of a stud RB. We will run the ball well if the Oline is moving dudes.

And honestly we will need to control the clock and do that on offense to protect what is an undersized defensive front.

So we will see once all these guys actually play.

We've got to run the ball well enough, that's it, and this season will be about pass protection and Dak getting the ball to CeeDee, Pickens, whomever's third, with Turd cleaning up what's left.

Because we are going to be behind. A lot.

Well, he was thinking about better teams than that, talking about Dorsett and Emmitt (and maybe even prime Zeke).

But even '23 Pollard was far better than anything we have now, unless we get incredibly lucky with Blue.

If Mingo doesn't come back this year, I just don't think I could bear it.

Jerry is going to prioritize Mingo’s return, no matter who else is hurt — with the possible exception of Dak.

I predict he’ll issue a statement alluding to Mingo’s highly anticipated return at some point during the season in a deluded attempt to continue to gaslight himself and others

Wheat behind Kneeland and Hall as the lead nickel CB jumped out as interesting.

Childress seems to have outplayed Hall to me, although either way it's probably going to be something of a disaster if either of them are our 3rd CB for more than like two weeks.

Richards being buried on the depth chart, combined with how the playing time has been doled out, seems like he's cruising to be cut.

BuckWheat has played a lot in preseason and has looked pretty decent.

Yea we definitely need guys with size who can set the edge, so I wouldn't complain. Kneeland is about the only edge right now who isn't some light in the ass 245 lb.'er.

Yeah, the only thing is he looks almost skinny for an NFL tackle. Maybe a year in the weight room and he can work.
