Even the players know the Cowboys aren't serious about winning.
That's part of the reason why I think players are hesitant to leave money on the table when negotiating with the Cowboys. They know the team isn't going to use that money to improve the roster.
I don't blame them in that regard. I wouldn't leave money on the table either if that money is not going to be used to help me win a championship.

Don't get me wrong, I know they've had some good rosters recently. I'm more so speaking to the fact that they never go all in to add that final championship piece that truly moves the needle like you see with other contenders.While I agree with you on one hand, on the other you could say that the rosters we had were capable of being a 2 and 3 seed in 2021 and 2023 with two home playoff games and they completely shit the bed each time.
Of course Jerry and his stupidity fosters an atmosphere that isn't conducive to winning, but the fact remains that those rosters got themselves in those positions and choked like dogs each time.
You can't really fault the organizations cheapness for that.
