Same. His humiliation and winning money betting against them are completely sustaining me right now. I will joyfully watch them go 3-14.
 
The #1 thing that this org doesn't get, outside of that it needs to replace it's GM, is that you can't turn every year into a must-win year.

Sometimes you have to take a step back. Sometimes you have to sell. Sometimes you have to purge overpriced assets.

This team never wants to do that.

The Eagles eat our lunch over time because they are a smart, well run organization. Even if they don't have a QB who is clear cut better, they have flexibility, depth, and future assets that we could only dream of.
 
I get this, but if he had pulled off the comeback, no one would have cared that he's a front runner.

And you know what was especially bad about the decision to receive last night?

We had a 3rd and 5 on our own 41 and we elected to run it.

WTF is the point in asking for the ball first because you want to be aggressive and want to set the tone for the game by scoring on your opening possession but then you make that sort of conservative call near midfield with said opening possession?

That might have been McCarthy's dumbest moment of the season so far.
 
I'll say this, it's pretty immediately obvious that Cook isn't the answer either. I think Elliott was clearly the better player yesterday.

If I'm keeping Cook on the roster for a few more games it's definitely over Deuce.

I mean I'm willing to give Cook more than a one game shot. But nothing I saw against the 49ers got me excited. Frankly, these guys are all trash but it's pretty clear to me right now that Dowdle is the best of the steaming pile of shit and yet they made up an excuse to bench him of all people. I'm done with this season.
