There's no easy answer as to what's at fault because the dysfunction runs so deep, it's across the board failings. Dak will play well for a bit then fucks up, the running game is completely MIA and is lucky to grind out a carry for more than 3 yards, Lamb seems to be kind of toxic at the moment, the OL is prone to giving up explosive negative plays, the play design is antiquated, so on and so forth.

It's why I'm onboard with Belichick, the organization needs an enema and even though it might not work, the best chance at it for the next few years is with someone like Belichick who can change hearts and minds simply based on his reputation and the respect he commands.

The biggest issue is his inability to run/escape pressure because it's impacting everything else and speeding up the clock in his head, which is leading to poor decisions.

If we had a normal run game it could be mitigated a bit, but unless Dak is making plays through the air we're constantly in 2nd and 8 or 3rd and 6, which exacerbates everything.

That ankle injury took away a huge part of his game. I think it's made him gunshy on top of any physical limitations
