We're not taking a S in the first round. I see no point in wasting time even worrying about it just because 1 retard doing 1 mock out of a ton of them decided to pick him. Dallas has taken 1 safety in the first in their history.

Our schedule sucks next year, playing the toughest divisions in each conference -- NFC North (Lions, Packers, Vikings) and the AFC West (Chiefs, Chargers, Broncos).
At least our 3rd place division finish will net us games against the higher placing of Jets/Patriots and Saints/Panthers.

Conversely, look how the 49ers luck out. Not only do they play the weaker AFC South and NFC South, their 4th place finish locks in Giants, Bears and Browns.
Had they finished 3rd place (Cardinals), opponents would be Cowboys, Packers and Bengals. Big difference in difficulty.
Maybe 49ers mortgage their future for one more year.

One thing I've learned about schedules over the years is that it's useless to try to predict whether they are tough or not.
For example, SF looked like a tough draw for anyone this year, and they are going to finish with 6 or 7 wins.

I would not mind dropping a couple spots and maybe picking up a fourth or something since we foolishly traded ours away.
We traded down two spots when we drafted Parsons and picked up a third so I think it's possible to do something like that if the opportunity arises.
