He fucking sucks, but we believe in our draft evaluation process. You have to believe in the process
Process :lol how can we trust a process that’s yielded us 0 Super Bowl appearances… wait even better 0 NFC Championship game appearances in almost 30 years ….they developed COVID in a lab faster than that … fuck these Clampett lookin pricks already ..

I started it where she talks about what she thinks is wrong with this team. She says we have no veteran vocal leadership. Says Gilmore was that kind of guy last year. Says Kendricks tries to do that but there is "pushback" there... I wish she explained that. Says we're so "draft and develop" that guys don't realize it's different at other places.

Also, at about 7:30 she says McCarthy can't discipline players and Jerry doesn't value coaches. Duh, we knew that.

Stuff like this is why it frustrates me when one of my good friends constantly bashes Dak. Every game it's Dak this, Dak that.

I've tried pointing out to him several times that Dak is low hanging fruit and is merely a symptom of a much deeper problem (Jerry).

He's a really smart guy but he just always defaults to pointing the finger at the QB.

This is why we'll never see any real change while Jerry is alive. Too many fans refuse to direct their frustrations at ownership.

:jerry
Going by old draft grades from college after players have been in the pros for years has to be some of the dumbest fucking shit I've ever heard when it comes to football.

I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority on this, but if it were up to me I'd look to trade Parsons this offseason.

We're at a severe talent deficit and are hemorrhaging quality draft picks. It's unlikely that we'll be competitive next season, so we might as well see if we can restock the draft cabinet a bit and at the same time avoid committing ourselves to another expensive contract.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like we'd be able to sign at least 3 quality starters with the money we'd save from moving on form Parsons. Maybe not in the 2025 season, but certainly in seasons beyond that. Next year's a rebuild season anyway, so I'd be fine making do with scraps until the Parsons savings kick in.

Parsons has become such a wannabe celebrity flake that I truly believe this would be the best way to move forward.

The main issue with this is that we won't use the savings to do anything of note in FA, they'll just use it to overpay internal extension candidates like Ferguson and Bland.

This.

I have been thinking about it but for me it was about switching to a 3-4 defense. If not then I would be more apt to trading him. He gets worn down by the end of the season being right on those tackles.

Then lately I have been doing the what if game where we have both Parsons and Abdul Carter.

Yes, that is the likely scenario. I was trying to be positive.

Most people cannot handle cognitive dissonance.

We complained about him ot running before.

Yeah, that also means they will never get the return on their investment. Their best hope is that he has a semi-decent 2025 as a pocket passer and pawn him off somehow.

Same leg as the ankle break?

Regardless, I doubt a guy who now has to wear an ankle brace to go fishing is able to run as hard as he really needs to in the offseason.

There is far more value in sitting him that playing him other than you can’t have him not playing active football for a half year at his age.
Depends if Jerry looks at it like, "You're making 60 million this year, you're playing" or "You're making 60 million, no point in risking you for next year".
