Who even gives a fuck what scrub ass RB we bring in?

Honestly.

Exactly.

They had an opportunity to bring in real difference makers at the position when they were available and refused.

We're supposed to get excited about some scrub that is on another teams scrap heap?

No thanks.

I'd sign one of them because we're desperate, but I'm not going to regard it as impactful or any reason to think that this was some sort of shrewd move by the organization to wait out the market.

Yeah, they have already sort of screwed the pooch for this season. I'll watch and hope that the team shocks me. But right now I don't feel any excitement for this team. I can't even sit here with the hopes that maybe some young RB stands out and shows us something. We don't even have one of those types on the roster. I'm sorry to Deuce but our RB room is just garbage. The depth on the team is gutted. I just can't see much reason to get excited right now. And I'm not even a "RB is important" type of person. But that doesn't mean you can totally neglect the position. You have to put young guys in there with talent. We couldn't even manage an UDFA that looks good at RB.

This year we’ll fall short as usual and our RB corps will be shush a glaring weakness that they’ll draft one in the first round next year, ignoring more critical positions because they are too close to everything.

The attention, the credit, the criticism, the money, everything.

They draft well enough, but can’t detach themselves enough to properly manage this team.

I'll bet you we don't draft a first round RB.

My point is this leadership has been known to stubbornly back their pet cats, fail utterly, and then over compensate to address the weakness they should have taken care of before.

We're still not drafting a first round RB. :art

You say it now, but when it was the most obvious reason behind the teams failures, the Joneses will overact to fix it.

This year they’ve convinced themselves Elliott has a resurgent season left in him and that Deuce is some kind of secret weapon that only needed a couple of fresh new OL and a Steele two years recovered from his injury to bust loose.

And with all that improved blocking Dak will cover for any deficiencies because in their eyes he’s “elite” and by God he must be because they’ll overpay him like he is.

And when it doesn’t happen yet again, they’ll blame the running game that failed “to develop”— then we’ll see a trade, an FA, or a top draft choice.

Maybe not a 1st, but don’t be surprised when it is

That all may very well be true. But I'd still bet good money that we don't draft a RB in the first.

Besides, how will we do that when every year we are supposed to take a corner in the first. Or so I hear...

It's a bullshit made up stat wrapped in an arbitrarily cut off scenario.

Look at all these anomalies and tell me this isn't a nonsense, fake stat.

Anyone who would take Jackson, Love, Garoppolo or Ryan ahead of Mahomes regardless of the scenario? Or Mayfield, Wilson, Smith, or Tannehill over Brady? Or heck, Wentz or Trubisky over Dak?

1. Lamar Jackson

3. Jordan Love
4. Matt Ryan

6. Jimmy Garoppolo
7. Josh Allen
8. Patrick Mahomes
9. Russell Wilson
11. Ryan Tannehill
12. Baker Mayfield
13. Geno Smith
14. Tom Brady
15. Andy Dalton
16. Justin Herbert
17. Aaron Rodgers
18. Derek Carr
19. Carson Wentz
20. Mitchell Trubisky
21. Kirk Cousins
22. Gardner Minshew
23. Dak Prescott
