It's reasonable but it's also just as reasonable to say that they're both equally at fault given how flat the entire team was, and how panicked the offense in particular seemed because they fell behind and didn't score on the first fucking drive afterward.

I'll always believe that something happened to the defense that day as far as the players learning Quinn wanted out, or was leaving, or something along those lines. I can't think of any other explanation why they didn't even show up. They all acted like they were pouting or something. Nobody's mind was on the game.

That doesn't excuse the players, because they're professionals and should play for that and their own pride if nothing else. But that debacle went far beyond Xs and Os.
