I mean no one thought he would be back. We all knew someone would pay him like a starter despite not being a starter. We can't really pay our third DE that kind of money.
 
You're an idiot if you're a Cowboys fan who allows themselves to get worked up about FA every year. There's enough evidence out there that shows that the Cowboys don't believe in spending heavily on high-end FAs.

Poor guys are all over Twitter and in comment sections bitching and moaning about the Cowboys missing out on certain players. :lol

This is what Jerry's "all in" looks like every year. They should be used to it by now.

Colin Cowherd just posted a very sobering set of stats to prove how average Dak is:

30+ Rush Attempts: Dak is 53-7
Fewer than 30 Rush Attempts: Dak is 20-34
If the team has 100+ Rush Yards in a Game: Dak is 64-17
If the team has less than 100 Rush Yards in a Game: Dak is 9-24

Umm...that's not good. A real franchise QB should be able to put a team on his back and win if the running game struggles. 9 wins when the team runs for less than 100 yards? NINE????

Now, I fully recognize that Colin Cowherd is biased and not particularly objective on just about anything even though he claims to be, but those numbers are quite damning. Even with suspect coaching, it still demonstrates how dependent Dak is on a strong running game.

If you took the small sample size of just postseason play, 7 games, you’d probably find the same result. Poor run performance, poor QB play.
