I appreciate what he did here but his legend is over exaggerated because of how horrific we were in 2020 (under outlier circumstances). He was a very good DC but he lucked into a generational player his first year on the job and the defense never truly got much better from the end of 2022 onwards.

Again, very good DC but he's put on too much of a pedestal when you consider the way the defense kind of stagnated last year.

It feels like no one wants to take on any of the blame for the shit performance. Everyone seems to be finger pointing which is a huge sign of dysfunction on the defensive side of the ball. Like none of these guys can just say, I can't speak to others but I didn't perform up to my own standards. Like Quinn, I could have put my players in better position. Lawrence, I could have made more plays. Parsons I could have executed better. Nope, no one wants to be a real fucking leader. Not even the defensive coordinator.
