I’d take Jimmys advice over anyone else in the Cowboys front office. An offseason of studying players whether it’s college or pro is all Jimmy would need to be head and shoulders above any of the clowns in there now.

That's the biggest difference. Fans don't want to go watch a team get their teeth kicked in week in and week out. You have a few seasons in a row of that and a fan base will turn. I think Jerry realized that when he hired Parcells. But Dallas has been good at least every other season since then. Sort of keeps the fans coming.

That and the Cowboys have always been a far more popular franchise than the Redskins. And as bad as Jerry has been he is no Dan Snyder.

Right. It's not really comparable situations. Redskins fans would be all DTCs if they had even our track record the past 20 years. They aren't better fans, they're just in a far worse situation.

Snyder only sold because of his legal troubles and pressure from the league. Nothing to do with dwindling fan engagement, which had been happening for years.

Jerry isn't selling if we stop attending. I think that's pretty obvious.

That's exactly why Prescott will get resigned. He keeps the regular season going. Jerry financially knows how beneficial that is as opposed 3 straight 5 win seasons.

We already know. He's told us as much and every action he makes is consistent with that.

We had three straight 5 win seasons and hired an all timer and built a new stadium.

He's never going anywhere until he dies, then his creepy family will take over.

That’s actually not 100% true. Snyder's legal issues were definitely a problem but he reiterated many times that those issues wouldn’t force him to sell the team. When he started getting pushback from everyone on building a new stadium is when the floodgates opened. Without a new stadium, there was no way he was going to be able to secure the big sponsors that all these owners covet.

Tyron has always been open to financial concessions since his very first big extension, and he continued that last year by restructuring his deal to a very team-friendly structure. He wants to keep playing and seemingly only in Dallas, he'll take less money to do so and it's just a matter of how much cap space Stephen can preserve for the 7 Olawale's we'll be signing in FA.

I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that he'll be back.

Yea, the problem is they think signing a handful of Nolan Carroll's allows them to go BPA and "draft pure". I'll be fucking shocked if these fools actually make a FA signing that is anything close to significant.

My only hope is that they made trades for Gilmore and Cooks last year that mostly paid off, and that they'll rub their 6 brain cells together and decide they can make 2-3 moves like that in free agency this year given their lack of draft capital.
