The Jets cut him. I would have offered them like a conditional 7th or something.

That was after the trade deadline. So um, no you weren't. And the Cards took him off waivers, they had a higher waiver priority.

I guess you could argue that the Jets would have traded him a few weeks earlier. But obviously they didn't.

Joe Douglas might not be receptive to calls from our super aggressive 365-24-7 GM. He has ties to the Eagles.

I forgot about the trade deadline.

I would have been barking up that tree for a while.

Ok, well, if you were to tell me we tried and the GM said no, then I can live with that. I doubt that to be the case though because the GM otherwise took nothing for the player.

And we are habitually in love with our own guys to the point of idiocy.

So when and how does Joe Douglas report that he hung up and laffed at Goof Son?

The 2nd game in a row, where McCarthy turned it over to Dan Quinn's defence during crunch time to save the game, and the 2nd time in a row, they failed. This after both times, playing a pretty solid game. Hopefully, they can get that straightened out, but not a good sign.

Huh?

All I’m saying is that if I knew we tried I’d accept it.

But you and I both know the case is that we sit on our fat asses claiming we like our guys.

I'm glad it's been pointed out none of it should have happened if the tripping penalty had been called correctly. The way things have worked out, we may end up playing the Lions again.

I’m arguing with some retard that is telling me that Detroit was still screwed harder because there should have been an uncalled holding penalty on Dallas on the tripping play, so that it should have been offsetting penalties.

Don’t leave me hangin, bra.

It has to get better.
Not really. there are only a bunch of single sentence, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUKKKKK FIRE EVERYONE posts.

With the occasional, Fuck Dallas post thrown in.

So just a bunch of troglodytes grunting? That is not quite as satisfying.

If we hold on to the #2 seed odds are we play them in Dallas in round 2 of the playoffs. But I also wouldn't be surprised if a wild card team could knock the Lions off. They are good but not great.

All this to say the #2 seed is huge for us and how much better we are at home.

Yep. It's enormous to get to be home for a couple.

Psssst. They really didn’t fail.
