If we don't kill ourselves with turnovers and penalties we'll win, and probably comfortably. If we get any sort of decent lead (7-10) Goff will crumble under our pass rush since he can't move.

Their only hope is to run the ball 30+ times and work the underneath with St. Brown and LaPorta while controlling the clock and keeping our pass rush guessing.

Considering that our defense held up relatively well against a better Miami offense on the road, I don't love their chances.

Weekly DVOA report...

We're 6. Detroit is 7. Our offense is 9, defense 6, Special Teams 6. Their offense is 5, defense 14, Special Teams 22.

So we'll probably give up some points, but unlike last week, our offense has to score on them.

Not sure why their ST is so low, if it's just some missed kicks or more. If they don't cover well, maybe there's an opportunity there.

BTW, Buffalo is #3 and Miami only fractionally behind them at #4. Yes, this has been a very tough stretch... tougher than even an NFC playoff run save SF.

The Lions run-it-down-your-throat-bust-your-face running attack is the only concern I have. With our pass rush, Goff will never beat us with his arm.

Maybe tonight we'll get that mythical Schoonmaker TD you promised us last week.
Hopefully. But I'm not going there again until they go back to what they were doing earlier and take Henderfrickup off the field.
