OMG IT’S HAPPENING

He's full of shit but the Henry thing makes sense in terms of being a flashy addition (in order to get dumbo Jones on board) while it fits an actual need and shouldn't be overly expensive in terms of cap or draft capital given that the Titans seem to be about to start a fire sale.

And this is the difference between the Eagles FO and ours.

They're like vultures who are constantly calling around looking for value and the opportunity to take advantage of teams who may be in a moment of weakness or frustration.

Our braintrust kicks their feet up and if nothing comes, they're fine, talent acquisition is 365 days a year after all. It's similar to their stance on going after FA's.

I actually agree with Jerry here. Let them come to you with the offers. We're already missing a few picks from other trades and don't need to be forcing anything.

Anyone in play, I'm sure teams are calling us about anyway because they know Jerry will overpay if it's someone he loves (Trey Lance).

but, by God, if the right one happens to call, Jerry gonna keep'em on the phone.

Could be true, although Jerry's idiocy and constant blathering to the media is another huge difference between this FO and the Eagles or just about any other FO across the league.

Stephen isn't a "football guy" but he damn sure isn't going to be out there spewing hot takes every chance he gets either.

A passive (almost arrogant) stance vs relentless pursuit.

That performance vs SF still bugs the hell out of me. I got pissed all over again last night watching the Vikings play well against the Niners.

I don't care about taking an L vs. them. It's the fact that the Cowboys didn't even show up to compete.

That was arguably the most cowardly Cowboys performance in a big game since 44-6.

I am amazed how the media fuels this idea that the Joneses are involved in discussions with other teams. It is completely one-directional and it will involve the other team calling, exactly as he described. They do not have strong relationships across the league, mainly because we aren‘t into playing the trade game to begin with.

If Kirk Cousins and Jordan Addison (et al) can shred this 9er defense for nearly 400 yards, we certainly can do similar.

When your feet aren't held to the fire to provide results, that is the mindset and inaction that you get.
