This is a now-or-never season for Dak. With rare exceptions, only a few teams have ridden a QB's talents to the NFCC or the SB. It's almost always a combination of things falling into place.

But Dak has a lot of pieces in place around him now. And there have to be a few games during the season where he wills the team to a key win. He needs to come up big in games against the elite teams. He can't lead the league in picks or come up small at playoff time.

With a solid OL, a decent running game, hot shit WRs and tight ends, and a deep, high-caliber defense, this is the season he's got to get it done—NFCC or SB.

If he falls short, it's time to recognize he never will. Fuck a big contract. And hope Jerry won't lock the team into salary cap purgatory. Time to move on.

This will be written in 2026.
I really don’t get how the average fan has virtually no clue of how things work or just would rather rant about stuff that they know just isn’t realistic. I went through that period for a bit. That does not mean you have to like it.

Prescott was always better than Wentz, but the point is, that Wentz's value was artificially inflated because Reich wanted him there.
he had seen/worked with the best version of Wentz.

Wentz had a stretch in 2018 where he played very well, setting an expectation to win in the 4th quarter with the defense keeping things close. But even then he couldn’t close out the season and it took a miracle finish with Pederson mindmelding with Nick Foles to carry that team through the playoffs.

Wentz’ s overrated and flukish 2017 season though is where he built his ridiculous reputation as a non-bust.

What’s amazing is how far being a former top rated, 6’5”, white, all-American looking, normal acting dude who was the top pick can carry a guy.

This guy should be out of football. Seriously. Yeah he’s a free agent, but watch… some team will be unable to resist throwing a million at him.

It should be illegal for these assholes to Tweet their pay-for-it content.
I doubt there was a single quote from Smith in that article that he hasn’t said to somebody else.

Yeah, there's a lot of that going around.
