Honestly just roll it over or use it to rework some deals. We aren't signing Hopkins. Most of the 20 mil can just cover up for the moves we made earlier this offseason (restructuring contracts and pushing money into the future)

The fact that they have the best QB in the league and one of the best of all time has nothing to do with their being the most pass-happy, I guess. Purely incidental.

RAIDER!!!

I don't understand this. One or two plays (one of which appears to have been called) from a single game in 2021 is an obscene amount?

I think the Cowboys in general get a bit of a short stick when it comes to officiating. I don't think Lamb is special in any way.

That's right. It's a conspiracy. Each week the officiating crew assigned to the Cowboys game gets on an encrypted call with the league office. The word is passed, surreptitiously of course, that the officials, all 8 of them, should wherever possible look for ways to screw the Cowboys on close calls.

One would think, that out of 8 officials per game, times — what? 17 games? — somehow word of the conspiracy would leak out. But no. The zebra code of silence, in concert with the league office, prevails. The fix is in. Screw the Cowboys any chance you get.

Oh, so you noticed too?

You make it sound complex. It's much simpler than that. Every human being has biases. In general officials tend to have a bias against us. Not every crew and not every week. But there is a reason why calls over time tend to favor some teams and not others. It's just a bias that officials have.

I guess the Raiders got a fair shake all those years, too.

If you were to believe that, then you’d also have to believe that the Steelers and Brady-era Patriots aren’t beneficiaries of the same conspiracy.

However, after MM has produced back to back 12 win seasons, I’m pretty optimistic.
