He has 5 TEs in the top 50 and has Johnson tumbling to #29.

Yea, a few weeks ago I said I might pop Flowers up over Johnston depending on how they test, I just hate that Johnston's hands are so inconsistent and I also don't love the fit of jump ball types with Dak who generally tends to work better with shiftier guys who can get quick separation rather than physical jump ball types who want to win physical battles in close quarters.

At this point I have Addison/Njigba as a toss-up at 1/2 with an Addison lean, Flowers 3rd, Johnston 4th and Hyatt 5th, although I'm not especially interested in Hyatt in the first.

If the top 3 WR's are all gone I'd probably take any of the top 3 TE's (Mayer, Kincaid, Washington) over Johnston, although Washington vs. Johnston would be a bit of a tossup.

Also interesting that he's slowly started popping Bresee back up into the 1st round range.

Banks also feels like a guy we'd covet with his size, physicality and how he tested at the Combine, he has sub-32 inch arms which seems like a bit of a threshold for us but I'm hoping he's off the board before we pick. God knows I love him as a Terp but not enough to want us to go CB in the first given what we already have there.

So I was hearing that Banks didn't do very well on the interview stuff. I'm curious is he not a bright guy? Physically I think he has it all. What you might give up slightly with arm length I would think you makeup for on height but I could be wrong. I like him but I also don't get to do interviews with players.

Lord knows, the guy is a monster though, a bully at the LOS with good ball skills and obviously the general deep speed/athleticism you need in a CB.

But again, fuck going CB in the first, unless the plan is to get rid of Lewis right now and do something with the fucking money.

I'm curious which picks match up with which players. I know some of the comp picks are because the 49ers for example had a "minority" assistant become a head coach. Which still frankly pisses me off but I guess if you have two coaches close in ability you should hire the minority assistant because if anyone ever hires them as their next head coach you get a comp pick.

Most of the third rounders were for hiring minority coaches and GMs. The 49ers cleaned up.

This is on PFF's simulator.

It is a really weird one as it has a ton of guys on there I don't even consider draftable.

We would never go back to back DTs but talk about fun. Go get a giant space eater and a freaky fast 3 technique. Make the defense great for years to come.
It shall be interesting to see how they divvy out the draft picks.

If Quinn gets two out of the first three picks, Fat Mike is a goner.

Damn your LaPorta love!

Yeah, just wanted to see what a TE would look like. That's about as high as I would consider a TE. But to me there isn't much difference between LaPorta and the top 4 TEs. I wouldn't be shocked if he is better than a number of them. I love McBride in the fourth. AT Perry is becoming a pet cat for me.

And Ibrahim just shouldn't have been left in the seventh. But he compliments McBride perfectly.

So how are you going to fit four backs on the roster? Zeke has gotta eat.
