At least I don't have to hear Joe Buck every week now.

Weird how FOX made no attempt to keep either guy. Gotta find a new #1 broadcast team.

I remember when NBC got the rights to the NFL again and shortly thereafter they announced that John Madden and Al Michaels would be their primary broadcast duo.

I knew right then that Sunday night football was going to get a great slate of games.

Sure enough, Sunday night became the new Monday night and vice versa. Sunday night was home to the marquee game of the week and Monday night became the boring game you didn't want to watch.

I don't expect the impact of this move to be as drastic, but I do expect for Monday night to start getting a better slate of games than what they've had in the last several years.

For some reason, people think Greg Olsen is going to be the new #1 for Fox now.

Horrible choice.

Once the transition to Thursday games on Prime or whatever, it might.

ESPN has some clout with the league and I am sure they wouldn't pay out the ass for these two to announce Texans vs. Jaguars-type matchups.

Exactly... And that's basically the same logic behind why NBC wasn't going to be getting bad games after they contracted Madden and Michaels.

So yeah, I totally didn't even think about Thursday nights but you're right -- Thursday night will now take over as the new host of the shitty primetime game of the week.

Schefter is getting a huge beatdown over this Tweet.

Is it stupid? Yes. He basically sounds like Watson's agent told him what to Tweet.

But the woke mob is all over him.

If there is one thing the Madden documentary taught me was how much chemistry in the announcing booth is so significant.

It will be weird to see all this jumbled around.

He's definitely the flavor of the week for the social media crowd.

I'm not saying he's terrible or anything, but I don't see the greatness that the Twitter experts do. I think it's like everything now, some idea gets a foothold with a few influential people and then the herd mentality turns it up to 11.

This is stupid. Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham may not have justified their investments, but that doesn’t mean you forever forsake acquiring another #1 caliber WR, especially when it’s for a fifth rounder.

Browns didn’t give up multiple day one and two picks for Amari Cooper.

Is it stupid for Bills to keep drafting 1st round QBs over the last 20 years? EJ Manuel and JP Losman failed, so Bills were stupid to invest another pick in Josh Allen.
