First reaction, is April Fools on the 5th now? WTF is this bullshit?

Second reaction, not really surprised. The NFL masters have to be jealous of the NBA being able to expand worldwide while they can't because football is too hard and tough and dangerous for the rest of the world. So what do you do? Water down football to grow your customer base. Who cares if it fundamentally changes the best team sport ever invented.

I actually like Pickett. His hands worry me but for the most part he is a pretty good player. Think Mac Jones with much better mobility. Or Daniel Jones with much better accuracy and timing as a passer. But at the same time a QB who fumbles is a real problem. If Sean Payton were still there it may be a good move.

to think he was almost a Cowboy :picard
No he wasn't. People speculating we'd take him means jack shit. The fact is, he was on the board, and we didn't take him. That's it. That's all. All the fantasy stories mean zero. Same with the stories about how Stephen or whoever had to talk Jerry down. Point is, it's his team. If he wanted to take him that bad, he would have.

LOL. So if not Manziel, who was "almost a Cowboy" in your opinion?

All this is true but I could also buy that Stephen talked him down. Stephen would be about the only one that I could think of that could. Still just a tall tale in the end that we will probably never ever know.

What a stupid question. I don't give a single fuck about coulda, woulda, shoulda. Why waste time worrying about shit that we have no idea whether it's true or not? Or about if it would have helped or hurt us? We have enough to worry about with what has ACTUALLY happened.

Wrong. The correct answer is Patrick Surtain or Jaycee Horn.

Yes, but as Jerry will remind you, he "listens".

That has been the issue all along. He can't evaluate talent. His disgusting worm of a son can't either.

Of course not. Even if he could do you think Jerry and Stephen are watching film? Jerry isn't doing that. He watches some games sure, but he isn't studying anything he just knows what the big names are like Joe Fan.

So dumb when these kids do this.

I'm just waiting for Lamb to pull the same shit after this season. Receivers are making crazy money in the NFL and now any good one is going to want 20+ mil the second they can ask for an extension.
