I think the NFL is pushing him as a minority strictly for their own benefit of claiming another "black" coach when though it's a joke.

But seriously, how far back are we going to claim minority status. If someone provides a family picture of a black guy in their family apparently that is good enough for the NFL to be able to say "see we hire black guys as coaches"

I was listening to the NFL radio on my way between court today and they were talking about how degrading it is as a black man for this to be all about race and to give out draft picks as a reward.
