His dad looks at most half black and if I didn't know better I'd have thought he was Italian or Morrocan or something. Considering how race is approached in this country it's basically racist (and pandering) to call this guy a minority, it's tantamount to the whole "one drop" thing from 100 years ago or whatever.
 


The way the Texans have handled this is nothing short of baffling.

Fuck around for weeks, then this is what they come down to?

Too chicken shit to hire McCown like they clearly want to and then offer it to Smith.

They must really want a puppet head coach. No other way to explain it.

You do not understand. They were already racist for firing Flores. This would just be a continuation of that behavior, except now on the bi-racial one.

It's unreal, it's surprising that a Patriots disciple GM is doing all this weird shit but I'm sure there's some dysfunctional power struggles going on around it.

Easterby is the real asshole there. The dude is on a headset on gamedays.

It is pretty clear nobody wants that job unless they are desperate.

I mean look at the interview pool: McCown, O'Connell, Gannon, Mike Lombardi, Hines Ward and now Lovie Smith.

Seriously?

If they weren't scared to death about the backlash, they probably would hire McCown.
 
 
I don’t get why team owners worry about backlash over running their business the way they see fit.

Hire who you want to hire and if someone has a problem, tough titty.
