Work in progress, but looking at Cowboys history, there are moments that mark the changing of eras from one to the next. The Bobble is one of them.

1960 - 1971, Next Year's Champions Era: Cowboys join NFL
1971 - 1979, America's Team (or Doomsday) Era: Winning Super Bowl VI
1979 - 1985, So Close, Yet So Far Era: Staubach's Retirement
1985 - 1989, The Pathetic Era I: Dickerson's Record Playoff Game
1989 - 1999, The Dynasty: Jerry Jones buys Cowboys
1999 - 2006, The Pathetic Era II: Michael Irvin's injury at Veterans
2006 - Present, The Are You Entertained Era: The Bobble

If the Cowboys win a Super Bowl this year or in next couple years, I'd consider Garrett's replacement as the end of the 'Are You Entertained Era' in 2019.

I watched the Graham Basinger(sp?) interview with Romo recently again, and the one thing that really struck me as sad was the fact that his body broke down at the exact point that the game slowed way down for him.

He commented that he knew what was happening before it happened. I didn’t quite get that when I initially watched the interview, but it’s evident in the way he predicts plays during broadcasts.

It’s weird how that happens at different points in a QBs career. Manning seemed to play most of his career with that on his side, Brady probably has been playing with that knowledge for 10 years now. It’s just sad that his body completely broke down when he felt like everything was coming together.

If only he could have recovered and threw it to someone for a TD.

I watched a few videos a couple nights ago. The guy was so good. I’d give anything to be going into the playoffs this year with a healthy Romo at QB.
I think that was the moment Mr Parcells was done. His desire to coach the Cowboys was completely gone after that deflation.
