I watched the Graham Basinger(sp?) interview with Romo recently again, and the one thing that really struck me as sad was the fact that his body broke down at the exact point that the game slowed way down for him.

He commented that he knew what was happening before it happened. I didn’t quite get that when I initially watched the interview, but it’s evident in the way he predicts plays during broadcasts.

It’s weird how that happens at different points in a QBs career. Manning seemed to play most of his career with that on his side, Brady probably has been playing with that knowledge for 10 years now. It’s just sad that his body completely broke down when he felt like everything was coming together.
I saw a different interview with him where he said he was different from most young QBs in that he could always see the whole field, make reads, etc. but his problem was his mechanics were so bad he couldn't get the ball where he wanted it to go. That why you heard about the endless hours working on his mechanics with David Lee, throwing the ball into the couch cushions, never taking a day off from throwing in the offseason, etc.

Of course he got better later in his career as he saw more looks, understood what defenses were doing to confuse him, etc. But thought that was interesting.

If a surgery 7-8 months ago is still impacting him then he should be cut.

This is probably just Fassel trying to buy him time to get into next season on the roster "because he'll finally be 100%".

Fuck off.
yeah, Bones. This is Chris Jones all over again. Greg's leg has fucked us enough in the regular season. And I know it will happen again in the playoffs.

3 - 6 lost points in a playoff game will cost you the playoff game. Arguably it cost us heavily in the Cards game that we didn't even play that well in.

he cost us vs the Bucs as well. It was the difference in the game. Its been an issue all season.

We didn’t give Folk or Bailey this much leeway and they were both money prior to their yips

If only he could have recovered and threw it to someone for a TD.

I watched a few videos a couple nights ago. The guy was so good. I’d give anything to be going into the playoffs this year with a healthy Romo at QB.

His points per playoff game aren’t very good.

20 - Seattle
17 - Giants
34 - Eagles
3 - Vikings
24 -Detroit
21 - Packers

If you count the Week 17 do or die games
14 -Giants
18 - Washington

I wonder how much higher Tony Romos name is today on the Most Googled

I mean, he is a proven vet kicker and it's a little late to be bringing n someone else. Don't think you want some spare off the street trying pressure kicks in the playoffs.

True. I guess at least Fassel is owning it.

I hope he doesn't have to "answer for it".

I don't either, because other than the FG kicker our ST has been legit.

I was getting ready to post above when I saw this. It’s too bad Tony broke down just when it seemed he was getting away from being Turnover Tony. He actually was managing the game fairly well and not taking crazy chances like the previous years.

What was the other kicker they brought in that kicked 1 game for us. Seemed pretty good. Did the REDSKANKS sign him?

He had the other guy on and off the roster several times. Lirim something, who’s now on another team .
