I was, that's why I'm changing it up a bit this week. It's very similar to an in-game adjustment. Were you on the patio last week? If so, I think you need to watch from the bathroom.

That would be one interesting patio designI hope you're watching this from the shitter.
The Cowboys' 33-point halftime lead vs. the Falcons was the Cowboy's largest since 1971 (vs. the Jets). I distinctly remember listening to that game on the radio as a kid (it was before the NFL allowed local TV blackouts to be lifted for any reason). Here's brief highlights of that Staubach-led victory:
Last week's blowout loss to the Broncos was a lot like the 38-0 1970 MNF loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
Yesterday during the first minute of the second quarter, Dak faked a screen to the left and then threw a screen to the right (to Zeke). That play was a staple of Landry's offense, particularly in the mid-70s.
The current Cowboys team reminds me a lot of the very early 1970's teams. The 1971 offense was loaded much like the current offense. The franchise had not yet won a title, having repeatedly fallen short in the most agonizing of ways in previous years.

Cowboys are the number 3 seed in the NFC as of today.
Thanks!That's good stuff, man. Props.
The hash marks were wider then, too, which favored defenses (the near sideline was so close that most plays were designed to go toward the far sideline, making offenses more predictable). That was changed (the distance between hask marks was narrowed) in 1972 to favor offenses.Crazy to realize the goal posts used to be in the middle/front of the end zone.
Given how the Cowboys responded to first round byes last decade, maybe there's something to be said for the second seed (as irrational as that may sound).Good news is no one has fewer losses then us. So we are right in the mix for a top seed.

Even the fans make better adjustments with Garrett gone.I was, that's why I'm changing it up a bit this week. It's very similar to an in-game adjustment.
It's funny. When I posted that I almost made a Garrett reference but decided against it.Even the fans make better adjustments with Garrett gone.

I think this offseason you will see stories about Mahomes getting back to basics or working on his throwing motion or something. He has gotten away with some cute stuff and I think he bought into his own hype. We should beat that team as long as our players play like they have all year barring the Denver game.We need to go 6-2 the rest of the way, give me 2-1 over these next 3 and I'll take my chances over the last 5.
