2017 Free Agency Thread

Dammit. Hyde was a guy I wanted to get.

Even guys I figured would be cheap signings later on like the Cowboys are planning are getting snapped up.

The carcass will be picked clean in a week by the time Jerry and Co. get off their asses.

Most of the mid-tier guys I wanted to go after are getting way too much (Hyde - 5/30, Andre Branch - 3/27, Harmon - 4/20) but one guy who got a reasonable deal was Swearinger, just 3/13.5 from the Skins. Now, I don't think he's a great fit there because him and Cravens are both box safeties, but we should've been in on him for that.

We better bring back Wilcox because the safety market is drying up real fast.

I'd be more concerned about our corner situation. Although there are still lots of options in free agency.

Pretty cheap prove it deal.

Pretty cheap prove it deal.

Yep not a bad deal at all. You can always cut him if it doesn't workout. You're starting to see the market settle down with some reasonable deals already. Not every scrub is getting the 6+ mil a year that we saw out of the gate at first.

Steelers want Claiborne?

But he'd be awful as an off the line zone corner. Wait, nevermind. Go Steelers, get your guy.

Wait, that was an Incarcerated Bob Tweet.

Ugh, do not like to see the Eagles landing all those WRs.

Warmack seems like a high upside signing too.

Little ever becomes of their signings every year. Wentz seems to have next to no ability to make the most of this opportunity.
