If you don't accept the contract offer from the Pats they don't negotiate. They just ship you out. They play real hardball with their players. It's in extreme contrast to the player friendly front office of the Cowboys.

I like McClain but it's funny how a player can go from trash that no one in the NFL would want to cashing in big this free agency. It's fair to say that I won't be surprised when McClain fades to obscurity. Plus I think he is a poor fit for a 3-4. Not really a DE and not really what you want in a 3-4 NT.

John Nix was called the trash can full of rocks, but never played for the skins. The only Dlinemen I remember them signing away from us in FA is Brandon Noble (the blocker magnet) and Jason Hatcher.
