It's coming from inside the house!

Feh.

I remember when we were a slice above relevance and our players, can’t recall who, put on a full court press for Chris Spielman at the Pro Bowl. Motherfuckers couldn’t Tweet then. Imagine Michael damn Irvin growing up now.

On a positive note, that was 10 years ago but Jerry looks 20 years older now.

On a negative note, ten years later we still haven't gotten any further in the playoffs despite many many loving gazes in the mirror from the GM.

On another negative note, even if Jerry does die some day (I'm not convinced), his successor doesn't appear to be much better.

we have somehow managed to put together successive winning seasons for the first time in at least a decade.

And that's why I can't believe there are fans demanding more from McCarthy as if we're just entitled to this type of success.

We're not on a level playing field like the majority of the league is. We have extra hurdles in our way that most of the league does not, and yet there are fans who think getting something better than McCarthy is a guarantee.

He's the ONLY coach in the last 26 years to produce back to back double digit win seasons and fans actually think THAT isn't good enough?

Funny how quickly they've all forgotten how this organization is run and how hard is to not only be successful in Dallas but also sustain that success.

So long as the Jones' run the team this way, I don't even want to entertain the thought of replacing McCarthy unless the team just completely tune him out.

Outside of that, we should keep him around as long as he wants to stay around.

I think that speaks well of the coaching staff given that they've been around only since 2020 (21 in Quinn's case). They are not responsible for the sins of the past.

The front office is a different story. They've been running the ship for almost 30 years with nothing to show for it. It's absurdly bad. You can't wipe away that level of incompetence with one back to back playoff season. The bar for them at this point is much much higher.

can he do it for a 3rd consecutive year, AND clear the division round hurdle? That will/would be impressive.
