I like the trade for Gilmore. He instantly solidifies our top 3 CB slots.

I'm glad to see they're not sitting back assuming that the two guys coming off injury will instantly bounce back to their pre-injury form.

I am okay with the risk. If the player can start a season and not be a liability I am trading a fifth all day every day.

We might think we are good at drafting, but it is good to see a bit of humility.

Now if only we would take wr/rb seriously too

:lol

For what?

We could've had Ramsey for a 3rd and scraps, what in the hell could they possibly be up to?

This is actually a really good juxtaposition. I'd much rather have Gilmore for a 5th than Ramsey for a 3rd.

And that's not even considering that Ramsey is going to cost way more cap space overall.

I'd rather have Ramsey for a 3rd if salary was equal, but there's no way we can pay both Ramsey and Diggs and I wouldn't want to lose Diggs for the sake of an aging Ramsey.

Fair enough, though I don't agree. I wouldn't have wanted to give up a 3rd. I don't think the dropoff from Ramsey to Gilmore is that huge.

But I do agree with you that the money is a huge factor as well.
