I liked heat but can see where it’s not for everyone. Plus it was really long for that era.

Amy Brenneman was good looking at first and then got more meh looking the older she got.

That looks great. Looks like a movie to be best appreciated watched in a theater.

Yeah, I will be watching that. Probably won't go to the theater to do so, but I will watch it.

It's really lazy writing. Need a bad guy? Throw a Nazi at it. Don't have to explain why they are doing what they do or their motivations or convince the audience that they're bad, or give their background or anything. Nevermind the fact that it's cliche as hell nowadays and it's the laziest most convenient setting in storytelling today. It also as a bonus allows the writers to avoid making bad guys that the woke crowd might get offended by.

And then you want to show how badass the good guy is, so you have him knife someone in the skull. It doesn't have to make sense, because it's badass! Then, how convenient that none of the other bad guy Nazis have their guns out while they're actively fucking with the good guy, because reasons, so when he does knife the guy he has time to use him as a human shield before they shoot at him. They even had one of the other Nazis come at him with a fucking axe instead of shooting him. Again because reasons to lazily explain why he wasn't Immediately shot when he did that which is what would actually happen in real life. And also it's another excuse to show how this simple gold digger is a secret badass! Win win!

And then in case the audience is too stupid to understand our obvious attempts to show what a badass this guy is, we actually have a voiceover explaining what a badass this guy is.

It's writing from convenience and it's terrible writing.
