2022 Season | Week 10 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Packers | 11/13/2022

Sucks to wake up after a loss on your birthday.

Especially a loss to the Packers
Especially to Aaron Rodgers
Especially to Aaron Rodgers making incredulous plays with a fucked up hand
Especially when we committed a franchise first of fourth qtr 14pt lead loss

where was I going with this

Happy bday, the Cowboys got you a gift. I hope you like crap.

Thanks for making me feel better. :unsure

It's just a number. It doesn't matter... well, except for people giving you shit about it. :lol
I don't really do the "birthday" thing. To me it's just another day. I was 1 day shy of 49 yesterday.

Thanks for making me feel better. :unsure

Same here. My wife is already reminding me that I will be a half century old next year. Gotta love that woman!
Mine wants to throw some big ass party next year. I told her I didn't want to do anything like that. But, I'm sure she will get her way.

Your doctor is going to want to give you something as well. :lol

Damn good question. It was infuriating watching them line up Parsons off the ball, and to me that was the difference between last night and what we have gotten used to seeing.
What’s infuriating is the Hillbillies are cheap asses, and want Parsons to be Mr Everything.
Pretty obvious there’s minimal pass rush if Parsons isn’t rushing every down.

They should have signed or drafted legitimate difference makers at DE if you are playing him at LB, or they should have signed a playmaker at LB if they were going to use him to rush the passer. But-that kind of thinking is reserved for real GMs.

What the hell happened to the defense last night?

The secondary communication seemed out of sorts particularly after Brown went out, I think Quinn was trying to mix and match guys in spots they wouldn't normally be in (i.e. Kearse and Hooker in the slot at times vs. WR's) and I think they were a bit discombobulated.

The run defense has been a teetering issue all year but it completely cratered last night finally, I think that is a function of a lack of focus/dedication to stopping the run first no matter what sort of lip service they pay to it.

I can only hope a performance like this whips them into shape for the rest of the year.
