Bryce Young has got to learn to start sliding though. He took quite a few unnecessary hits today. I thought he got concussed on one near the goal line.

He's going to need a really good OL in the NFL because the injuries are already starting to pile up with his slight frame.
 
Levis is a fucking bum, really hope the Skins reach for him in the back half of the top 10.

And this Georgia TE Washington looks ridiculous, might even challenge Mayer for the top TE spot depending on how he tests.
 
OU made a good showing after a couple of debacles. Hard to believe that the QB position made that much of a difference.

The refs won the game for Utah, though. They literally gift wrapped two TDs for the Utes due to nonexistent roughing the passer calls.

Not as big a fan of him, he's way more reckless moving around the pocket and takes a bunch of unnecessary negative plays.

He reminds me of Murray whereas Young seems more composed and controlled.

He's been making some Mahomes-like throws the last two games.

Here's one from two weeks ago that was freakish. I've never seen anyone throw a jump pass this far.




This throw is from last night. Most QBs can't make this throw, with that type of touch.

This is 100% true but I think it can be coached out of him as he matures.

Right now he's still playing like he's still in high school where he could just use his athletic ability to escape any type of trouble. That type of thinking has got him in trouble from time to time. Last night for instance, I specifically remember two plays where he had plenty of time to throw the ball away but he took 15+ yard sacks because he refused to give up on the plays.

Those same criticisms were hanging over Mahomes head when he came into the league. But with guys like Mahomes and Caleb Williams, the good far outweighs the bad. So I wouldn't have any problem betting on him.

Yep, it was the one thing that Mahomes had to fix if he was to succeed in the NFL. And he did it. It's not out of the realm of possibility. I had my doubts with Mahomes, and he may not have fixed it had he landed anywhere else but KC and Andy Reid.

It would be a good illustration of how the exact opposite can happen to a QB.

Yep, he's only played one year (plus one game) right now, so he's still very inexperienced. But he's already better than he was last year, and that physical talent is pretty crazy. I saw where Jordan Palmer said he reminded him on Mahomes also. (Don't think he's as good a dude as Mahomes, though... he kind of has that Kyler Murray attitude complete with overinvolved dad.)

If Williams falls into a perfect situation with a vet like Alex Smith and an offensive architect like Reid then maybe he could end up as a Mahomes-lite, but that's very unlikely.

If he goes to some shit box like Chicago he'll flounder.
