It's almost like Venebles has already lost the team.

And how the hell does OU not have a better backup QB than Beville? I'm not sure he'd start for a random Texas 4A team. I know Riley gutted everything on the way out, but still.
I have no idea why they settled on Beville. I didn't even finish watching the game. I turned it off late in the 2nd qtr. But from what I saw they were scared to let him throw down field.

I've been arguing with Sooners fans online who want to make excuses for Venables and Lebby. They're claiming that Riley gutted the QB room left the position bare. That may be true but I've watched plenty of games with true Freshmen with less than 6 months on campus are playing and the offense still manages to look like a respectable college level offense. So IMO lack of experience is no excuse for not having a competent backup QB on the roster.

Plus Beville has 3 years of college experience under his belt. If you can't trust a guy with 3 years of Power 5 football experience under his belt to throw a 10 yard pass, why is he on the team in the first place?

Yep, he could've taken every starter on both sides of the ball with him and they still shouldn't look that bad.

I've never seen anything like this. I'm not sure they can even come close to turning this around this year. It literally looks like they won't win another game.

Lebby made a name for himself as an OC of high flying offenses, but I don’t think he called plays at either place. It was all Heupel and Kiffin.

Just got tickets to the UGA/Vandy game Saturday, but the best part is that we got passes to Tailgate Station...w00p w00p!!!

Nice. Enjoy watching them thump Vandy by 40.

It's going to be a great day of college football. Easily the best weekend of the 2022 season. There's a huge game in every P5 conference today.

This is one of those weekends where I wish I had one of those fancy multi-screen man cave set ups.

I think Oklahoma St. vs TCU game is going to end up being the best game of the day.

Something tells me Tennessee will end up folding under the mental pressure of playing in a real big boy game for the first time in like two decades. I'll be rooting for them though.

The only thing missing from that Michigan vs Penn State game to be a perfect is for there to be an overcast and the temp to be 40 degrees.

Man I love classic Big 10 matchups.

That's the early game I'm watching. I'm bypassing the Oklahoma game because I don't feel like wasting my time watching them mail it in again.

Man we've got us a game in Michigan.

Indeed. That was one of the flukiest INTs of the year.

As an aside, another great thing about Big 10 games is pace of play. We're 37 seconds from halftime and the game kicked off around 12:10 EST.

That's because Big 10 football has always been what most resembles the pro game.

They actually run the football and try to play defense in that conference.

That Wolverine ground game is legit today. Penn State has no answers.

Clifford has made some big time passes on these last 2 drives to keep the chains moving for Penn State.

Really impressed with Clifford's poise and decision-making in this half.

He's been under a lot of pressure but it's not resulting in rushed throws or bad decisions.
