I've said it before, and I stand by it. Aikman was the most accurate passer to ever grace the field.

I don't give a damn about stats. I know what I saw.He is not in the top 40.

I made it about 10 posts in. Those people are idiots.Does Aikman win a SB with any team from Parcells forward?
Lets assume its not even a conversation with the teams from after the 90's up to Parcells. But do any of you feel that Aikman would have won a SB with the teams of Parcells, Wade, Garrett, MM? :popcorn:cowboyszone.com
Go and read this...![]()

It's weird to say, but he may be one of the more underrated players in team history.I've said it before, and I stand by it. Aikman was the most accurate passer to ever grace the field.

Too many kids only saw him at the end when he was beat up behind a bad OL and terrible coaching and think he was always that way and just a glorified bus driver.![]()
Yep. Under today's rules, and with as big and strong as he was plus the way he took care of himself, he could have played to 40 if he wanted to.Yeah its unfortunate Aikman didn't play in an era that protected QBs at all costs and have a chance to play into his late 30s.
He is not in the top 40.

Aikman is a tough case since he was so good in the playoffs for the most part.…and #6 all-time playoffs in Yards per Attempt (min 300 attempts), so not a dink and dunker, either

And he faced some of the toughest defenses and pass rushers everYeah Aikman was not only a different era but he wasn't playing in a WCO spread them out and complete the quick easy passes. I love me some Aikman.
if you look at postseason stats, the picture is absolutely clear in your favor.I don't give a damn about stats. I know what I saw.
I'm gonna go ahead and say it and will probably get roasted for it. Aikman was as good as Brady is/was.
Indeed, Aikman retired partly because he didn’t want more concussions.During his prime I agree. The problem of course is that Brady's prime lasted much longer as simply touching him was a personal foul. Aikman got the snot knocked out of him with nothing.
