I like Zalatoris, but I hope Mito wins over Thomas. Not a fan of that guy for some reason.

He put it in the water after going for it when all he needed was to make par. That’s definitely a Van de Velde…

Maybe I'm looking at it too simplistically but it looks like the golfers who defected to the LIV tour got a huge victory in the end.

They received massive salaries and were still able to compete in PGA majors. Then today they announce the merger of the PGA and LIV.

So all the outrage and "they're ruining their legacies" takes were for naught.

I wonder how many guys like Rory, who reportedly turned down $500 million from LIV last year, are kicking themselves for not taking the money.
 
That's what that stupid tournament wanted, though. They encourage the idiots.

I don't understand these sports that have been around for so many decades - with golf it's centuries - and think they have to try all this goofy stuff to squeeze out another dollar or two in the short run.
